Handwoven Basket Christmas Tree Ornament
Charming woven basket as a Christmas tree ornament with black wire star basket hanger, hand-woven by my daughter, Stephanie Becker.
Hand-woven of natural flat rattan reed, this darling ornament basket has a solid woven base (to hold perhaps sprigs of holly and fresh pine boughs or even small candies) right on your own Christmas tree!
The natural rattan weavers have been left natural, and this miniature basket will - over the years - develop a rich colored patina. The black wire basket hanger is in a traditional Christmas star shape, and is attached to the basket between the rims and down through the basket weaving.
The Basket Ornament measures 2" x 2¼" oval, 2" high at the basket rims and 4" high to the top of the star ornament handle.
